Objective
Become better equipped to help patients overcome their opioid use disorders and, with certification, become a trusted source of care for patients with opioid disorders.
Validation
Evidence of obtaining the approved waiver for provision of medication assisted treatment of opioid use disorders using buprenorphine. Include the following element:
- Waiver – Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) letter confirming presence of waiver and eligible clinician prescribing ID number. Obtaining a waiver requires mandatory training.
